What we do

Custom solutions, built to fit your business

No off-the-shelf compromises. We partner with small and mid-size businesses to design, build, and refine software and workflows around the way they actually work, and we do it right.

Workflow modernization

We map how work moves through your office today, then replace paper, email chains, and duplicate data entry with streamlined digital processes.

Custom software

Web apps, internal tools, client portals, and integrations built around the way your business actually runs, not the other way around.

AI integration

Responsible, practical AI for drafting, summarizing, intake, and search, set up with clear guardrails so it helps your team without creating new risks.

Technology consulting

Plain-English advice on what to buy, what to build, and what to leave alone, plus training so your people are confident with the tools.

Tyler Brown, Ph.D.

Department Chair, Engineering & Computing, Franciscan University

As managing partner, Tyler sets direction across Kedron’s teams, brings in new clients, and scopes each project with his partners and students. He manages the client relationship through development and production, contributes to system design and architecture, and leads training and onboarding once a system is built, drawing on 15+ years as an educator. He chairs the Department of Engineering & Computing at Franciscan University and previously led campus-wide faculty and staff teams at Columbia College (SC). He has experience as a software developer in both research and production settings, including at Highmark, and holds a Ph.D. in mathematics (computability theory) and a B.S. in computer science.

How we work

A clear path from “this is how we’ve always done it” to a solution that makes sense and works the way you work

No jargon, no surprise invoices. Every engagement follows the same proven four steps, and we work alongside you through each one as partners building something great together.

Discover

We learn your business, your goals, and where work is getting stuck.

Map

We scope the right solution together and agree on a clear plan.

Build

We design, build, and test in short iterations, with you in the loop at every step.

Train & support

We train your team, launch with confidence, and keep improving as you grow.

Students on the team

Kedron Labs incorporates university students end to end, from requirements to deployment, giving them relevant, real-world experience they can sink their teeth into. Students work in roles such as front-end and back-end development and requirements analysis. They don’t handle project management, but they’re involved in project management decisions. We tailor each student’s role to their interests and talents so they own their part of the project. For students, it’s like a well-paid internship: real problems, real clients, and the experience they want. For clients, it means an experienced team that brings in fresh energy and ideas to solve real problems.
